Sealcoating
Protect your investment with regular maintenance including sealcoating, which inhibits the degradation of your asphalt from exposure to UV radiation, water damage, petroleum products and melting salts. We use a coal tar emulsion sealer to shield your pavements from deterioration. We recommend sealcoating your asphalt as early as 90 days after it is installed, followed by a maintenance schedule of every 3-4 years. Residential applications usually require one coat while most commercial lots require two.
Crack Filling
Part of what makes Maine beautiful is the change of seasons. Unfortunately the heat and cold take their toll on asphalt, causing cracks and compromising your investment. If water seeps into the foundation, your pavement will begin to erode. Keeping up with cracks can prevent costly repairs down the line. We use machinery to remove all debris and fill cracks with hot rubber crack filler, a heavy duty material to reduce the weakening of your asphalt.
HFS (High Friction Surface)
HFS is a high performance modified epoxy resin system surfaced with a choice of colored stone aggregate. It prevents slippage and provides a unique coating to resist severe braking, heavy wheel loading and all types of turning movement. HFS also is resistant to oil, fuel products and de-icing products. Great for walkways, crosswalks, pathways, driveways and bike paths to improve safety in slick conditions.
Asphalt Coloring
We can transform most paved areas into tennis or basketball courts with our asphalt coloring process. Choose from a variety of tints - our standards are red or green.
Striping
We can stripe your pavement for parking lots, athletic courts or any area that requires marking. The process can be done with or without our sealcoating service.
